ATMs borked

:D :D :D

Funny them all doing maintenance on the night the clocks change.
Either thy want to make use of the extra hour, or they are concerned now that their banking systems might have another idiotic crash when we swAp the clock around :)

This is what I was thinking - seems like a convenient way of making sure they don't have any daylight savings bugs in any of their code :p

Good lord, you had to catch a bus???!! No way.

Make the culprits pay for this upheaval!

It was abhorrent, having to share an enclosure with those sub human scum :D

//we got there in the end. It was just annoying as we had no idea where a bus stop was or what buses went where. Didn't even consider Uber. I'm a bit slow sometimes :p

Tried to draw some cash to get a cab home, no dice. Tried a different ATM, nope. Turns out nobody in this area (Clapham) can get any cash out anywhere, although the one shop I asked said his card machine was still working.

Had to catch a bus home.

Thanks banks, you bunch of *****.

Filled up with petrol at 02:39 and my card worked ok. :p

How was the bus? :D

Err...use Uber.
No cash needed and cheaper.

I think Halifax said their cards and ATMs would not be working early hours of this morning. It came up as a message on my online banking.

Be thankful that you still have a night bus available for weekend clubbing.

I used to go to Birmingham (Godskitchen etc) from Stafford and the National Express ran night buses back to Stafford with departure times of 03:15, 04:15, 05:15 etc back in the 2000s. Last time I was able to use that service was in 2009 as they stopped it soon after that.

Might've been something to do with the clock going back. Some older systems don't handle it gracefully and have to be paused to stop them processing the same data twice.
