I think my 7870 is either drunk, or dying.. I'm guessing it's the latter.

There is no coming back from this is there? I did notice that Sniper Ghost warrior was playing up too but I thought it just wasn't loading properly..

It lives at my nans for when I stay at hers so I have something to do of an evening. So i'd be pretty happy if I could sort it tbh!

It idles at around 35/40c and about 60c in game. This house is like an oven so it doesn't help.
No overclock and it seems to be fine in battlefield.. Other games not so much.

haven't you heard of the new drunk diver graphics setting.

On topic yes it looks like its on its way out.

Are you setting power control to 20% in CCC?

Also try under clocking the gpu ram slightly maybe 200mhz,that's if more power control don't fix it

Might also need a good blow out now?

I haven't touched CCC.

I'll try underclocking and see how that goes. I gave it a clean recently as I put it into the new build, it's been boxed for months.
