The more I play the more I'm enjoying this! Having all these familiar, famous characters is a great idea and helps immersion no end.
I am still enjoying it. It is stunning in places, but have found a few little niggles.
One thing I am wondering, if anyone knows. When I return to the train Jacob keeps saying 'A letter, for me?'. Any idea what that is about?

Best AC game in a long time this, normally I put 3-5 hours into one and I'm bored, the London setting helps no end, looks great, by day it feels full of diseases and primitive by night the gothic fog and gloom feels like Jack the ripper could be around the next corner. This could be an 8/10 game for me.

Yeah I'm liking that too, I finished something up earlier and knew I needed to go and empty my safe on the train. Just as finish my current activity I hear my train roll around the corner and into view. It was perfect!

Don't know if anyone can answer this, but on some enemy NPC's I see a red, white and blue dot above their heads and also appears on the map. What does this signify? It's very early on in the game, still in Whitechapel.

I think:
Red is in range to assinate
Yellow in range for quick shot
Blue are the po po
Green are your gang members.
Is anyone else finding levelling up is taking ages. I'm only level 4 but all my missions are 5 or above. I have done quite a bit of side stuff but still not made level 5.
It almost feels like they want you to pay to level as it seems I can pay fir the upgrades to level quicker.

Level 9, had no issues levelling up. I've found doing boat raids, and clearing districts to 100% helped get XP quickly..
