Do you Hire cleaners?

How do many of you even function in real life because you can't even do basic cleaning levels of your own property

Do you ever go out for a meal of get a take away?

We have a cleaner 4x a week in our house in Egypt. (4 lads, all working full time as teachers) It's normal practice here and a good source of income for the locals. She costs us £40 a week so around a tenner a day for around 20 hours a week.

Not sure how I'll manage when I go back to the UK!

That's totally different, that is what i call a treat, you hire cleaners in for a treat, maybe the way i am, i was washing my own clothes at the age of ten, doing household chores is just part of having your own place.

If I had my own place I would gladly hand money over for 2hrs a fortnight of cleaning. It's a job I hate doing, but like a clean place. So its worth the money.

mmm this thread is tempting me to get a cleaner in

we moved to a three story house 18 months or so back - and even hoovering the stairs is a pain and time consuming
