Bit cheesed off as ordered a new mouse Friday afternoon from OCUK knowing at best i would be very lucky to get it on Saturday (which i wasn't expecting) or most likely to receive it on Monday (Today).

I get Mondays off so it works out OK for me to take deliveries but still no sign of the Royal Mail today other than letters this morning. Annoying thing is i live half mile from the depot, and if they come tomorrow, which they will as i'll be at work, I'll miss it, it will be a pain to get from the Depot due to the hours i work and the hours they are open to the public for collections.

Ordered Friday, Dispatched Saturday Morning, waited in all day waiting for RM to turn up which they haven't.... First world problems :(

I do if i know im not going to be at home, but considering i have the day off anyway it made sense to get it delivered to my home. sigh.... Royal Fail

chances are because of cost. you only get next day delivery via dpd if its over a certain amount. other than that it comes royal mail.

Ask one of your nearest neighbours, who tend to be in when you're at work, for permission to nominate them as your preferred alternative delivery address (you can get this on record at the RF depot). Apparently some items cannot be left with neighbours, such as Special Delivery or international items that need a signature.

Have you got a secure porch, with a small top window you could leave open? We get our postie to drop items through the porch window, unless something is labelled as fragile or it needs a signature.

TBH since it was privatised I rarely get any first class mail the next day anymore, everything seems to have dropped a level in service. Used to be first class was pretty much always here next day. I try not to use RM anymore.
