I love the look of the BMW's. I just find the inside, dated for want of a better word. They don't seem to be as up to date with the Audi's for instance.

F10 xDrive is LHD-only, F30 comes in xDrive, but the interior is not up to scratch.I do hope you're joking!
I was in a BMW 525D yesterday, it was solid, well designed and very modern. I then sat in an Audi A6 S line and it was terrible in comparison. The 6.5" screen was tiny and resolution was terrible comapered to that on the BMW. It's put me off buying an Audi and put me in a predicement on what to buy as i would really find 'quattro' useful where i work, but not sure if you can get BMW's X-Drive in the 5 series. If you can, then i WILL be getting a BMW 5 series. And i'm usually an audi fanboy!

Is the C7 interior really that bad? I've poked around the A6/A7 at dealers but I wasn't shocked by the poor quality, put it that way.
My C6 interior is much better than an E60 though, that's for damn sure!
I would imagine they will introduce xDrive in the UK on the next 5 Series in 2017.
Since the 3 series xDrive has proven fairly popular.
That interior![]()
That interior
Lovely looking car on the outside though, and I like the HUD
2017 for the 5 to be updated is about right though, my E is up for renewal next August and I was hoping there would be a new 5 before then.
The interior is the best part for me.
BMW always have a 7 year life cycle for their cars.
F10/11/07 was 2010
For me the build quality of the interior is not that special, sorry. The 'push' test on the interior shows many a creaking plastic and some of those plastics look and feel cheap, certainly compared to previous generations. I think it's a nice place to sit and the controls work well and are well laid out, but I don't think the quality is what it should be.
