Hi
Just put win 10 on, happy with the install, will get used to it.
One question if anybody can help with.
Bios sees all the hard drives (all SATA) and the size of them but in win 10 one of the drives is showing only 100 mb and I know its a 200 gb, all the rest are showing the correct size.

Alan

Open device manager and see if you can see the partition on the drive in there.

It could be that it isn't a full size partition.

The 100 MB partition will be the EFI partition. It should not be given a drive letter.

If you open Disk Management you should see all your drives, right click the one showing 100mb and choose extend drive, this will expand to it's full size.

Upload it to here then post the link to it: http://imgur.com/

From the sounds of things it sounds like some of your HDDs had previous Windows installs and you left all your drives connected during the 10 installation?

Use the site I linked earlier to upload a screenshot (press printscreen, open paint, paste, save), sorry but I'm struggling to imagine how your partitions and drives are set up with words alone :p.

That seems... confusing.

Did you have only one drive conncted during the Windows 10 installation? And the drive that says system reserved at 465GB, if this was Windows 7, was it encrypted?

Hi
First, big thanks for all the replies, I shrunk the partition and made the rest as usable space.
This is a old drive from my old system, MB went bad so been using the laptop for the last month or two. It did have win 7 on, never formatted it as I had some things on it I wanted to save.
All sorted out, win 10 working great just few things to work out as there are so many changes from win 7.
