Another possibility could be that with glenn been underneath he might get covered in zombie blood/guts and it could help him to avoid walkers like in previous episodes.
I dont know its just a possibility

What a fantastic episode!!!
Glen:
I have to agree with a lot of the comments, I can't see his character being killed off like that. They shot it very well making it appear like he was the one being eaten. However, if you look at how he falls, Nick lands on him - Nick is the one being eaten.
Not sure how he will escape, but if he manages to cover himself if their blood, he should manage to walk out of it - not the first time either.
Rick:
Unfortunate to be stuck in the RV surrounded by zombies. I would imagine he manages to get out onto the roof of the RV and head over to the house on the right of the ending shot - with any luck he can find some form of shelter. With the group who just jumped him, they can't be squatting far away so must have shelter close by.
Loved this episode and really looking forward to E5!!
I liked ricks brutality with the machine gun, no second thoughts, just **** it and kill all 3 of them without even flinching.
I genuinely wasn't expecting that but if you think about what he's been through, 2nd guessing wouldn't matter as he knows what needs to be done!! Brutal episode, it's getting very good!!
I think that's how they'll explain it (even though he'll be covered in human blood, not zombie blood - which should actually make him even tastier to the zombies, no?!). I hope he survives, however ridiculous it might be, as I can't help but feel there are very few original characters left and no new ones that are remotely entertaining/likeable. If he does survive I expect he'll be the one to amputate a hand.
The writers seem to have forgotten that Daryl can act his part perfectly, he's had no part in the last 3 episodes.

Bottom line, if he survives that, it might be the most ridiculous thing to ever appear on tv.
