No, I'd imagine the police just licensed the use of a video. Why assume they stole it?

Because ERMEGERD THERFT

So my colleague at work who keeps asking if I want a cup of tea is really asking if I want to sleep with them?

To be honest tho, if you agree to drink tea with someone but change your mind, you should probably just drink the tea anyway and stop being a ****.

It's a weird video, but a light-hearted way of raising the concept of consent. We'd have a better society if we were cool with the idea of talking about consent/sex in general.

I seem to be agreeing a lot with you recently. It's off putting. :p

Also I don't like tea, how does the metaphor extend to me?

Is this where the expression tea-bagging comes from?

It's an amusing little allegory and it makes perfect sense.

What happens if she gets out two mugs, puts a sugar and a teabag in each, gets the milk out of the fridge and turns the kettle on? Then after waiting until it's ready to boil, decides she doesn't want tea after all?

Because that is more analogous to the "blurred lines" problem they are alluding to.

I don't get the analogy of "you can make them a cup of tea, but they might not drink it". What is the making tea part? Getting a hard on? Putting a condom on?

Until we start teaching adolescent boys not to rape, instead of teaching adolescent girls that it's their fault for getting raped by what they wear, not much is going to change, even with twee little videos about tea.
