How on earth does that perpetuate and legitimise violence exactly?

To me, they're a man in a dress. I don't see the connection to then feeling the need to go and give them a beating.

To the people who commit that violence, they're a man in a dress, and that is exactly why they get beaten up and killed.

You're not telling me where the link is, you're just stating as fact that is what happens.

Where is the link? Why does seeing a man in a dress instantly lead to them being beaten to death?

But where in any of my posts have I said that? I've asked a question about whether "deep stealth" is OK. This same question is being asked in the trans community.

Do people in the trans community think all trans people are predators by default? So why must we?

I imagine it's largely irrelevant as she was born with a vagina. Has always lived with a vagina and continues to do so.
 
I think the most pertinent point is more whether Thompson has had his genotype tested. While his wife is being tested he may as well get it done himself. There's a chance he's XX and has been deceiving his poor wife by making her believe she's been having sex with a man for all this time.

If he needs to get a test to determine this, how exactly can be knowingly deceiving anyone of anything?

I think most people are happy as long as:

The guy was born with a dong, played football at school and fancied Buffy. (Rugby would indicate a certain confusion, I think.)

The girl was born with a foof, loves ice cream, and wouldn't say no to Brad Pitt.

With those simple rules in place, we're golden.

On a serious note, being born with an obviously male appearance (including penis) and believing yourself to be male all your life, functioning as a male all your life, and having no reason to doubt your sex, is sufficient. Likewise for women.

But believing yourself to be female when for 30 years (eg) you've lived as a male (including fathering kids some times!), does not mean you can become female by inverting your penis and doing HRT.

That is the perception of reality among most people, even if you don't accept it as the universal reality.
