Noticed this was mentioned on their weekly upload, and historically its fairly unusual for amd to appear on their webcasts. Presumably the fiji x2 launch?

Its mentioned at the 5 minute mark.

Fiji X2 will coincide with the Omega (or other name) drivers. Those drivers will mark the formal consumer launch of LiquidVR, and Fiji X2 is THE VR card.

I enjoy the show and Allyn knows a thing or two about storage but the bias towards nVidia is wearing a bit thin. They did a good job of highlighting the extra idling power draw when the IPS rog swift is displaying at 165hz though

Wondered why they were kind with the Acer curved FS panel-now we know, it's because AMD are coming.:p

Wonder if they'l pull them to bits on their podcast after the AMD one like they did the last time AMD were there, or maybe by getting the exclusive a deal was struck, failing that, hopefully AMD have wisened up and scraped up some cash for them.

I know we joke about it but it's still sad. Have to bribe just to get fair treatment.

I've had to stop listening to the podcast because of the amount of time they spend talking about storage. They drone on. Also the amount of sentences that end in so....

Let's see if they are as hospitable to the them as usually are with Tom Petersen. Did anyone see the live broadcast for a few months ago at the height of 970 ramgate and gimped Kepler performance? They had a real opportunity to drill him for some answers and were far too lenient.

Reminds me of the phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds"

I have always found Ryan and Co to be very watchable and they delve deep into things unlike some who just skim the top and only give half the story. I would rather know the eventualities of what I am going to purchase.

That they do, but would become the perfect source if they split the hard questions both ways.
