No media should be trusted. Not mainstream media. And particularly not internet media composed by nothing more than glorified bloggers.

That Breitbart would do something like you say (the redub), would not surprise me in the slightest. But on the flipside, I would not be surprised in the slightest to see it coming from the other side either.

Russia Today's current marketing slogan is "Question More" and people blindly post their stuff like the exact same slogan doesn't apply to their content also.

Personally I prefer the slogan of the X-Files. Trust no one.

At least the mainstream media in this country has a code of conduct and poorly sourced stories can lead to corrections and compensation. It's not an anywhere near perfect system but it's million miles more advanced than believing Internet bloggers with an obvious agenda.

But bloggers and people who report stuff online through their own channels are all about "Da Truth!". Fight the power and reveal the organisation for what it really is and ting. Open your mind, be free, don't be the borg, fight the enemy, democracy is a myth, open your eyes, smoke da herb, etc ad nauseum.

Oh I completely agree. But I still approach mainstream media with a large dose of scepticism. After all, they're companies pushing an agenda. Whether that's the agenda of private corporate interests associated with the owners (such as the Murdoch empire, or BBC) or state owned corporations (such as RT or Al Jazeera).

Those particular types really get my back up, because it implies some sort of omnipotence, or inside connection to a topic that they don't actually have and it's usually nothing more than opinion from a pulpit looking down on people who are "too blind to see the truth!". Really irks me.

No idea. I haven't found any sources that actually give facts and seem credible. I may just be failing with my googlefu though

Only "evidence" I've heard is from a couple of Swedes I play with online. However they're definitly not impartial and it's purely anecdotal. Haven't produced any links for me.

It dosent help matters when the Police cover these things up. Such an evil crime too.

Hmm I do wonder sometimes. The sad thing about a cover up is it will be years before it gains enough traction to come into the light, and there's no evidence to suggest there are cover ups (shockingly).

It is.

You bring a bunch of people in who come from a culture where women are expected to cover up and not show a thing, and suddenly you have all these women that are showing a ton of skin (relatively, to them) and you're going to get cases like these.

Of course, the actual numbers are hard to find because of covering up.

I know bless em, It wouldn't be so bad if they were not issued condoms on arrival to their camps but then maybe contraception is un Islamic?

I'd like to know why exactly the officials are covering it up ? surely it would make sense to warn people to be vigilant so this doesn't happen :confused:
