I wouldn't label America as a secular society. God plays a big part in public life.

Of course I don't want to see this conflict a little closer to home. I don't see how bombing hospitals helps in that goal. Wouldn't you be extremely angry if an external force bombed a hospital in your country - whether it was a mistake or not? We're driving people towards extremism. ISIS would be a lot weaker without western interventionism in the Middle East. Even Tony Blair accepts that now.
