Anyone else had a distinct lack of trick or treaters this year?

Nope, very quiet here, didn't even have to turn all the lights off and hide! :p
Was quiet last year too.
 
Not one today. I bought 3 big bags of sweets from Poundland "just in case" .Fear I may have to taste test them..

Been very quiet here too, usually I get loads as the missus goes to her brothers with the little one on Halloween.

My be its because I banned them from putting any Halloween stuff in the window. ;)
 
we made trickle treat welcoming signs as best we could and had 5/6 door knocks

1 from a load of teenagers after what ever and the rest from younglings... had a good crack with them

somehow we expected more though
 
Nobody here. Brilliant, isn't it. One of the most stupid traditions I can think of.

I mean, let's have a bunch of kids knocking on the door of complete strangers, asking for free candy. What can possibly go wrong?
 
Loads round here, not one knock. I think they only go to houses with Halloween decorations out.
 
Just one knock, which wasn't successful as always. We have a dog in the house who always barks when someone knocks on the door and that makes the trick or treaters scream and run away, so by the time we've opened the door there's no one to be seen. Shame really, I had lots of Haribo to give them ;)
