Hi Guys

Can you please give me some feedback on my first attempt at ab X99 build? It will be used for all types of gaming, web design & video editing.

I am going for a black and white build.

A couple of extra questions;
Better ram option?
Better cpu cooler? corsair?
If I want white cables, do i need a specific psu and compatible cables? or all cables are compatible with all psu's.

Ill add the EVGA PSU and then can use the cablekit.

Any other suggestions on the parts I have specced? ie; is there a standout 980ti i should consider?

also whats the deal with RAM, the cosair dominator ram looks beautiful, but is twice the price of others. it the price justified by performance?
 
Gigabyte G1 is good, black and white theme. Takes 2x8pin connectors. Look for connectors on the PSU, my P2 has 8+6 pins connectors per cable for some reason, not 8+8 as it's usually the case (cablemod looks like it's actually 8+8 so it should be ok).

EVGA ACX2 Superclocked has nice subtle lighting, good card.

Enthoo Luxe White is a good case, some RGB lighting out of the box.

MSI do a Black/White version of the GTX 980 ti. It doesn't seem to be stocked by Overclockers though.

I am almost ready to place my order. I have a few final questions before I can go ahead.

CPU Fan
Seems the Corsair is a popular model. Is the hydro h105 my best choice? not the h100 or 110?

Mobo
I have gone for the SLI plus board rather than the krait edition - should I spend the extra £30?

GFX Card
Am I right in saying the windforce logo can be set to a white led colour?

PSU
This I am really have no knowledge on. I want modular, is 750 okay for this build? Is there anything better for similar price? If i wanted to add another 980ti for SLI - would this cope?

H110i GT is on offer till tomorrow (weekly deals is wednesday to wednesday) it is a 280mm rad and RGB LED so you can make it glow white or any other colour.

X99 with 980ti in SLI (if you want that option) I usually suggest 1kw PSUs.
