What have you done to your car today?

Changed number plates on other halfs car.... No I'm not planning a bank raid, but hers are old, flakey, falling apart, so put some shiny new ones on this morning. She's happy (for a little while anyway)..... 8-)

Crashed the polo into the golf.. Turns out it's a bad idea to drive in wet smart shoes, they are very slippy! Polo's plastic lower valence popped off and the Golf well.. I don't know if I caused the dent or it was already there. Who cares :o

Acted like a Yobo and mapped in some Pops and bangs in the over run. Get a nice couple of pops when you lift off above 4k before fuel cut comes in and a good pop between gear changes at 6-7k rpm

Not my car, but I snapped my friends key off in the ignition, so had to pay an auto locksmith to remove the broken part, and then had to pay to have a new key made (it was her only one)

Expensive mistake!

Well after breaking my number plate light when I was visiting Dear Acme, I've now ordered some new ones but it means I need to somehow break the retaining clip inside the recess. Oh well when they get here it can be sorted.

I've gone for the LED Panel ones so should be a lot brighter now but it means I don't have to buy a new frosted holder :D

Mainly a proper thorough washing, polishing and waxing. Did some jobs on both cars I needed to get done as well, but let photos of shiny cars commence. :D

Results speak for themselves, Auto-brite product really is incredible and so easy to apply and remove as well. :)

Parked it on double yellows with total disregard for rules.

:p Actually dropped it off to the garage on the way to work. Exhaust flange clamp number 2 being fitted after being ground down a bit as it's a bit tight.

Also checking condition of all bushes.

Just got 4x Uniroyal RainSport 3s on my Fez. Had original tires (2008) on back, and two mismatched on front, one of which developed a slow puncture. Great to have grip everywhere now (not that I'm ragging a 1.25 Fez around).

Came home to find wife's car wouldn't start. Doesn't turn over just makes a clicking noise. Checked battery volts and they were OK at 12.2volts. Mechanic coming out tomorrow to have a look :(

Might be worth seeing if you can jump start it, I know you say the battery is ok, just a thought worth trying before shelling out for the mechanic.

Tried jumping it but just the same result. It struggled to start last week, but not had any issue since. Hoping it's just the starter and not anything more serious.
