That's a shame, Robben does seem to be pretty awesome. Was easily my favourite player in Fifa 15, pulled more than a goal a game from him with a fair few assists to boot.

From what I understand he is still the best RW in the game, however probably not as effective this year given that Wingers in general seem to be pretty pants.

I'm still torn what to do, a Spanish team as suggested above is appealing. I keep looking at some kind of BPL / Spanish hybrid but can't find anything that works for me.

Trying to think of a hybrid that would work to get Robben in my BPL team, but its quite hard now that Van Persie has left. I suppose I could use Bastian to help with linkages but ugh, I just don't know :(

Less than 2 million will get you something like I just put together. 1.6m I spent.

Got Alba, Alves, Godin, Varane, Laporte (IF), Ramos, Busquets, Krychowskiskiowow (IF) (forgot his name. CDM bloke), James Rodriguez, Isco, Modric, Iniesta, Ratikic, Neymar, Bale, Konoplyanka, Feghouli, Benzema, Griezman, Martinez and a whole bunch of fringe players for rotation.

Prices have dropped big time. Shame I can barely win lately.
 
Pulled IF Dybala out off a pack, and bought Tevez with with some coins I had out of selling/discarding the other cards. Tevez is ridiculous, playing him at CAM in 4312. Not had much opportunity with Dybala yet, I have his normal card so may shift him on.
 
Dybala is good with no touch dribbling and winning penalties easily. Not so good for trying to charge through on goal. I'd cash in on him though as an 80 rated 1st IF isn't worth it over his NIF.

Palacio is still stupidly good and cheap as chips.

Yeah Robben is very good , IF Aubameyang is all pace and run at people , not really my style tbh.

I loved Robben last year and he is good this year , i just don't like what i have around him. I wonder if you wanted him in a BPL side could you link him somehow (maybe with a RF card) upfront beside Depay , have a german midfield player from bundes then linking to either Ozil or schweiny ? mmm could be done but wouldn't be optimal i guess !

Yeah it works away normally , the way i do it is the biggest gamble but also normally the best rewards. The other option is wait until players have scored hat-tricks or are being widely predicted to be in the TOTW but by then plenty others have the same idea and will be buying them up as well.

Gonna give him a few games and see if he worth it over his NIF. I have Palacio in my club so could use him and will help Tevez with chem as I have put him in an Italian side
 
Anyone know a good ST in Serie A? I've tried both Mandzukic and Bacca who have been useless. To be fair it was only in cup games where I seem to be useless :p
 
Cheers Andy will give them a try, obviously pace isn't an overpowering factor this year, so I'll have to try some physical/dribbling combinations ;)
 
Apologies, nobody get a La Liga team like I said before.

Bale is slow in FUT (wtf) , Neymar isn't very good at dribbling ...again wtf , Benzema is a donkey.... wtf.

About to be relegated three divisions after rising to the 4th with a BPL team. Good grief.

Quagliarella, insane shots, cost nothing also,just fast pass up to him turn and shoot on edge box.

Just pulled Ozil from a pack, do I sell him or hang on ? Not really using German or EPL players at the moment. But in the future, who knows...
 
Can't do it any more....

Whenever I get put up against a team less than 5 stars, I know i'm going to lose.

Every....single.....time. It's meant to be "Ultimate" team, but what is the point if your players get gimped?
