I wasn't sure which I wanted, Alu or Graphite.

After the Alu one took so long to do anything I ordered the graphite when it came back in stock (last week) with a view to cancelling one or the other. I didn't cancel either.

Figured I'd get both in the hand see which one I prefer, send the other back. I also have a friend who's expressed an interest in one so might even pass it onto him.

I did look at a dummy alu in CPW and its nice, but a niggle in the back of my mind says the black one is the one I'll prefer.... :o
 
still processing for my 64gb alu ordered first day i could after it was announced.

there's 2 things going on in this thread. one we're talking about google delaying this phone, and two a possible major design flaw.

any chance these may be linked and they're sorting the issue with a quick fix?

Ordered the 64GB Aluminium on the 30th September, due 3-5th Nov. Processing. Shipped.

Ordered the 64GB Graphite on the 29th October, due 18-20th Nov. Shipped.

i'm not thinking a complete re-design, but perhaps adding one piece of material to strengthen the weak points, wouldn't have thought much would be needed.

they found an issue any way is what i've heard hence the delays, and we know of this issue.

I'm still not so sure its a real world problem, I own a lot of things that would break if I applied that much force to them and they all remain unbroken years later..

Mine has not cancelled yet, you can’t cancel once it goes to “Processing” – So only option is to return it once it gets delivered.

I’ll still probably return it though, probably… Might play with it for a day or two.

If it ever moves past Processing.
 
Has anyone else found that their parcelforce tracking number doesn't wan't to play ball? I get this error message when I put the number from my google shipping email (without the #) into the website. Same happens when I click the link from my order status

This is now 2.5 hours after receiving the email so I would have thought it should be live and in their system by now.

Not panicking yet as it'll probably come to life, but just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

A lot of the time they won't go live until they're picked up which will be late this evening.

Aaand it's just appeared.

Getting it delivered to work but it's now in the depot in Northwest London, wish I could drive there tonight and get it

Ah right, the wait continues.

I think a week should be good playtime. I cant justify spending that much on an 810 device, even if it is a Nexus.

Better to wait for the 820 devices :D
