Anyone using a sat tv card with Win 10?

I want to upgrade my media pc but have a compro s350 pci sat tv card that does not support Win 10 according to the manufacturers. I also use WMC but only for the live and recorded tv functions so that will disappear when i upgrade too.

Just want a very simple no frills solution to viewing Sat TV, will need to buy a new dvb-s card i assume.

Any suggestions?

Yep, I use this http://www.dvbsky.net/Products_T9580.html Along with DVB viewer.

Compatible TBS tuner + DVB Viewer.

So DVB Viewer looks good, will go with that.

The only match that came up in google shopping for that dvb-s card was on the bay. When you say Compatible tuner, that's what i'm asking as my current card is not compatible with Win 10 so I'm asking what cards people are using that are working on Win 10. I'll do a bit more searching around for that T9580.

Both of my tuners are by TBS and work on windows 10. I always recommend tuners by TBS because they always update their drivers. Like the link I posted is supported in Windows 10.

Cool, I was being a bit thick there, TBS is the make of the cards then. Now I'm searching TBS tuner on google I've got loads of matches, thanks :)

I have the previous version of this card. The 6982 is compatible with Windows 10, according to the Specification tab.

Thanks, that looks perfect, initially a little more than i was thinking of spending but thinking about it my current sat card has lasted many years so my total costs of sat tv viewing has been £0 for at least 6+ years so i'm overdue for a new investment in it :D Dual tuner will be a great new novelty.

The total cost for the card and the DVB Viewer licence will around £95 so not too bad.

Thanks to you both for the advice :)
