There was a film out last year which dealt with this theory. I can't even name it because doing so would spoil it. That's my little paradox right there.
If you think thats bad watch Predestination heh.
And fathered a child, would it be possible that in the future that child could be your father?
Discuss.

wikipedia said:Zaphod Beeblebrox /ˈzeɪfɒd ˈbiːbəlbrɒks/ is a fictional character in the various versions of the humorous science fiction story The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
He is from a planet in the vicinity of Betelgeuse, and is a "semi-half-cousin" of Ford Prefect, with whom he "shares three of the same mothers". Because of "an accident with a contraceptive and a time machine", his direct ancestors from his father are also his direct descendants (see Zaphod Beeblebrox the Fourth).
The introduction to the timeline would be the standard one of being born, assuming reverse time travel were possible then I can't see any logical inconsistency in this.
Unlike the grandfather paradox whereby a person interferes to prevent the birth of their father, you would be doing the opposite and causing the birth, so not changing anything that happened in the past.
That said, you would still have to bang your gran, which is just plain weird no matter which way you look at it.
