**** The Official Google Nexus 6P Thread ****

I've spoken to Google CS and they agree it should be the same top and bottom and are arranging for a replacement.

why does this device has all those labels on the back at the bottom? i thought they weren't needed any more?

AndyCr15: I mean this is the nicest way. I'm watching your video posted above, please stop smacking your lips when you talk. it's not that often, but often enough that i'm being put off from watching more. my family member does it and it drivers me crazy

My 128GB Nexus 6P arrived today and very nice it is too. However when I logged in to my
google account on the phone it restored contacts but has not started restoring all my apps.
When I first logged in I wasn't on wifi but I am now. How do I start google restoring all my apps.
My previous phone was a Note 3.

I kind of had the same thing, i ended up factory resetting and this time i definitely got the option to restore from my previous phone during setup.

I bid you all a fond farewell, after several calls with google support the only answer they can give is we have no idea when your order will ship, so I'm cancelling and off to deal with a company than can actually supply a product

I'm always happy to take criticism and try and correct it/improve. Unfortunately, I don't exactly know what you're referring to?

**EDIT** I think I know what you're talking about. Not sure I'll be able to do much about that, it's literally just a noise of me opening my mouth, but will try and bear it in mind.

I'm shell shocked with the phone but in a very good way.
It's got a fantastic screen seems very bright, brightness is 3/4% off.
Frost white is beautiful and has a slight rubbery feel to it? Can't quite explain it, and slightley pearlesent.
When updating and loading up all my apps the phone got warm but never got hot my LG gets way hotter.

Phone seems fast and fluid in action, no stuttering (well actually there was a little bit when going between apps while downloading all those backup apps) so I'll forgive the phone for that.

The frost and diamond cut sides on the phone is stunning just looks so classy.

I think the speakers might have different volumes? I'll have to re check, the speakers are loud and very detailed was great to hear my songs through them can't wait to hear an action game with them.
Finger print scanner is just WOW I've never had this feature on a phone before so for me it's WOW :-)

Have not tried the camera yet.

In my home I'm really liking the phone and would not want to give it up I just hope out in the real world I feel the same *fingers crossed* because I want to keep it.

The top one will be louder, Ive spent the last hour reading about it and it seems all phones have the same "issue". The iFixit breakdown shows that the bottom speaker doesn't play directly out the grille which leads to the perceived imbalance.

Put it on full volume and you won't notice a difference, try half and you will. I think it is just a design flaw.

Thanks SUKH that does sound like a design flaw? Have to say I think I would mostly be using headphones, I'm downloading Asphalt 8 as I would like to see how that game plays on the 810 and that's the only time I can see myself using the speakers playing games.

The only lag/stutter I've seen so far is on the Widget selection screen. Other than that it is stupidly smooth in use but not too far off my Note 4 with Lollipop 5.1.1 really.

I am finding the Type-C cable to be quite difficult to smoothly insert and remove into the phone also. As a result I get a bit nervous as I don't want to break that frail looking connector.

I am also nervous about having to take the device to work tomorrow in it's present nekkid form. So I've found a velvet pouch to stick it in.

Lastly....bring down the notification shade and tap and hold over that lil gear icon on the top right for a bit :)

System UI unlock :) i done this to show battery % as i prefer that.

The USB-C connector is quite tight but also firm feeling when inserting but yes agree you feel scared to use :)

Phone does feel fast

one thing i keep doing is tapping the screen to wake it up (LG G2 feature) lol muscle memory has to kick in on this.

Has anyone unlocked the bootloader yet?

Can you confirm if fingerprint scanner still works after you unlock it?

jump to 23 seconds in and you'll hear it, esp if turned up with some decent volume. people do it most when starting a sentence.
