Awesome! I'll be playing a lot of hardcore CTF when my copy arrives tomorrow by the sounds of it then.
 
Can anyone tell me, is the single player campaign worth continuing with ? I've done the first mission and hated it. I'm pretty sure it'll be a continuation of the same things I've already seen, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Like I said, they specifically make the game feel the same as all the others. Its a winning formula and they don't want to change it too much for fear of upsetting everybody.

Look at how upset the COD community was with Advanced Warfare when Sledgehammer pushed it too far in terms of what they changed. People are crying out for remakes of the original. COD fanbase wants more of the same every year, they don't want change. If you do, best just to accept COD isn't the game for you anymore and go play Battlefront or Rainbow Six, or even push it a bit further and try Destiny.
 
Played a few online matches last night and first 2 missions on the campaign.

Absolutely loving it and the graphics are outstanding, huge improvement over Ghosts & AW. Will get a good blast at it over the weekend.
 
Anyone else unable to load up calling cards from the menu?

I was going to say it must be easy to rank up if you are at that level already. :p

I never thought I would say this, but I am bloody tempted to go get this at lunch. Just for the sheer joy of Nuketown and throwing knives. If I remember correctly the first black ops campaign was quite good!
 
Only managed about an hour/hour and half last night on this. Stuck to TDM while I learn the maps and so far I like it. Of the maps I have played so far I like them, there seems to be a nice mix of open and close quarter sections. The maps have different heights but, unlike AW, don't seem to have many levels. By this I mean, AW felt you walk around the corner and people could be on the ground, the first floor of a building, second floor or on the roof . Wheras blops3 feels much more you can only be on the first floor of that building so while you need to look/up down to a different height there isn't many levels to that height.

My only real complaint so far is TTK, it seems too quick. It feels like as soon as you are getting shot you can't do anything to avade as you're dead. Whether it is too fast I'm not quite sure, it could just feel this way due to coming from Destiny.
 
Sounds interesting, I'm still wondering if I should get it or not, and the TTK will likely be destiny since its on the slower side. Also how is it going from 60fps too 30fps?
