Will all be good?? Not sure how latest games interact with 4k..I suppose ultra settings will be too much even with my pretty good system.

I wouldn't be sure on whether it is 4k ready but others might, but I have noticed that you missed your GPU off the list.

Have to chuckle. Asking about 4K gaming and you haven't mentioned your GPU setup :p. It's THE most important factor.

Personally speaking I won't be going 4K with anything less than SLI 980Tis as I like to have 60fps mins and Max settings in games. I would also rather wait for pascal and have one card that's up to the job properly.

For ultra settings on newer games you'll need two GPUs: Titan, 980 Ti, Titan X, or R9 390. At ultra settings 4 GB VRAM will often be insufficient.

If you're satisfied with medium to high settings, a 780 Ti served me well until I got my TXs.

Whoops forgot to add to spec...
MSI GeForce GTX 980Ti Gaming 6144MB GDDR5 Graphics

I can't afford another one for SLI lol.

There you go. You could see how you get on with one 980ti and add a second in a while?

I'm in a similar dilemma myself at the mo. I currently game on the original rog swift with 780ti in SLI. Which in all honesty is bloody great. But I am itching to try 4K, but also think 3440x1440 100hz is a better all round bet for gaming. Hmmmmm

I think I will wait for now as I would also like 60 fps on max settings.

If you add in things like Nvidia Hairworks, I rather doubt that even the next generation of cards will allow you to max settings at 4K on a single card. If you want to stick with a single card, then a 3440x1440 monitor should be right up your street. Of course, you could wait for the post-Christmas sales and go SLI.

If you go for a high dpi 4K monitor, then you'll find you need processing techniques like AA much less which will in turn allow you to use higher quality base settings.
