Decent Wireless Headphones with 5GHz?

I've been trying a couple of wireless headphones, namely the Sennheiser RS185 and Sony MDR-HW700DS headphones. The RS185s are great, but I've realised just how congested the 2.4GHz band is near me as I'm getting drops outs no matter what I do. When I flick the Sonys over to 5GHz it's perfect.

Are there any other decent home audio wireless headphones I should be considering apart from the Sonys which operate on the 5GHz band?

I like the Sonys as well, but with them being closed with no velour ear pads, they do get quite hot. Plus I've got my reservations over how long they'll last (no replaceable battery and the ear pads don't appear to be replaceable either).

Surprised Sennheiser haven't a 5GHz model. They've discontinued the RS220, so it's possible they might replace that with a model that is 2.4 and 5GHz.

I think the Sony ones might be the best bet if you want 5GHz; or wait to see if Sennheiser releases any.

The closest replacement they've got to the RS220 is the RS185, which is part of their latest line-up (RS1x5 series). Disappointingly, they've stuck with the crowded 2.4GHz band again :(

I'll probably just have to sit tight with these Sonys and wait for Sennheiser's wireless line up to come with the wifi connectivity you'd expect at this end of the market.
