Win 10 download issue

Guys, i put Win 8 on my pc and activated fine. I went here and started to upgrade the PC.

Several times now it has it has restarted and an error has come up about memory dump!! Help!!

Can i put in the DVD of Win 10 and upgrade from that?

you can use the tool to download the DVD or make a USB stick.

are you on Windows 8 or 8.1?

Windows 8 cannot be upgraded to W10, it has to be windows 8.1 like W7 has to be SP1

Done all that but it may be that i have an iffy disc that may be corrupted

have you tried the USB option? that's what I used and had no issues when doing a clean install.

have you tried running the setup.exe from the HDD (download the ISO and extract the contents or burn to USB stick)
