Ah I have it on r*sc instead of steam.

I invited but it was showing as you playing single player, all good though as you found us :)
 
It happened to me tonight. I use vsync though so mine dropped from 60fps to 15fps going from a mission loading screen to the game itself.

Alt enter fixed it however.
 
Keep coming back to GTA Online every week, this game is a dream come true, everything I wished an open world game could give me.
Must've put over 300 hours into it between PS3 and PC, really amazing considering it's more than 2 years old.
The sequel will be ridicolous, even if this map and the L.A. setting seem impossible to top.

The only problem is wasting time between loading screens when it lets you jump in a full lobby.
Besides that is my go to game to showcase how far we've come (with TW3).

Well I now finally have an apartment. Thanks to Gamble for getting me started, I'm getting really used to it now and I have to say it's one of the best games I have ever played. Hackers are annoying, but it's easy to switch servers.
 
Abit late starting with this game. I have a couple of friends who play this but getting abit frustrated trying to progress playing with randoms.

Gamble, any chance you can help get me started? I have no idea what i'm doing in GTA Online. I have a crappy car, a pistol with no bullets and it all seems so manic! Any help would be most appreciated! My nickname is J40JRC

Yeah no problem :) Me and Sponge last night just ran a few missions and did fleeca heist to give a bump in cash and RP. As long as you get to level 12, everything gets a bit easier.

Jumping online now, will send out invites etc to who I see.

I decided to spend a bit of time in freeroam last night to see if I would experience modders...and I did. That's why I haven't had much of an experience with them, I am always in missions/heists and generally stay in freeroam only to go to LCS and Ammunation.
