What emergency kits do you keep in your car?

I carry a few of the usual essentials, did however recently realise I don't have a set of jump leads though, they were swiftly ordered!

The supplied tool kit, bag of change for parking, spare aux lead. The tool kit has a Jack, locking nut, screwdriver and something else - can't remember - but it certainly isn't a spare wheel..

I carry a cig lighter tyre inflator, a tool box that I put together myself that sits behind the passenger seat wedged in so it doesn't fly about, car jack and a first aid kit.

the bangin choonz are a must when you drive a german whip enit. come in handy at the lights or in traffic :p

Spare mobile phone with car charger and sim card
Portable battery pack
Sleeping bag
Tent
Change of clothes
All car consumables
High vis jacket
Tow rope
Jump cables
Torch
Tyre pump
Bottles of water

and a comprehensive first aid kit that includes, amongst other things, BP cuff, steth, antibiotics, suture kit, scalpel, saline etc

Most of the stuff wasn't planned. It just ended up in my boot, and I lazily felt it was the best place to keep it all.

Mobile Phone, RCA Breakdown Card.

If the **** really hits the fan i would have to resort to pressing the VW SOS button, which i can only assume deploys some sort of helicopter based tactical recovery squad.

Isn't it basically a built in car phone with a couple of speed dial numbers?

U no dat blud! :p

The Green Flag membership comes more in handy when driving an older German whip. Need to step my hustle up and get one of those proper sik white 114i's on finance like all the bad mans around my area have ;)

Never actually needed it but one thing I used to keep in the car was a space blanket - cheap, take up practically no space but could be life saving in an actual emergency situation.

For convenience I used to have a 7 watt solar panel on the back shelf + 10000mah USB battery pack.

Other than that pretty much as others have mentioned. Kept meaning to get a high vis vest and fire extinguisher but never got around to it (not driving at the moment).

I don't have a spare and I aint using the tyre gunk guff so although o have that, a compressor, trolley jack and a few tools they're only really in there through laziness

The usual Tyre pump, tyre gunk, mini tool kit for tyre changes, high viz etc but when I was still in the military I carried my Ops First-Aid bag with everything from plasters to Hemcon/NPA-OPA's/Tourniquets/SAM splints etc which my mate found a tadge overkill! :D

Proper items for changing a wheel ie. Trolley Jack, breaker bar, sockets required and footpump. Makes it all a lot quicker in the event of a puncture.
