I do not trust that kid Carl had a girl fight with.

I may be clutching at straws a bit here, but did that sewage zombie water get in Aron's cut on his forehead?

Also, this doctor chick managed to withdraw an infection from that guys leg. I think it was just your standard wound infection, but it could lead to a light bulb moment.

There's so much symbolism thrown in now its hard to keep up!

It's nice that there is a kid more annoying than Coral for a change. I doubt Aaron got infected tbh, Rick had the cut on his hand in Episode 3 and seemed ok when comning into contact with walkers.

That wound scene was comical in my non medical opinion. The monitoring equipment was beeping away at a rate of knots and she syringed some puss from his leg and the machine began to beep normally. I'm not entirely convinced that it works like that or indeed that quick.

How do you mean light bulb moment? As in maybe they can remove the infection with a syringe? Even if they could I don't see how it would be beneficial to bites and scratches as we saw with Hershal the only way to stop the infection spreading is to amputate immediately. Besides I think the show is past the point of reversing the outbreak and it can only end when all the walkers or everyone is ultimately dead.

A) Has the next series been commissioned yet?
B) has filming finished for this season?

I get the feeling the next season will be the last despite producers etc saying they got up to s12 mapped out.

As to Glenn, a common occurrence in American series with multiple characters, leave them out for a couple episodes then bam, they're back all guns blazing just when you've forgotten about them.

A) Yes, it was renewed a couple of weeks ago. It gets renewed in October each year.
B) Probably finished or just about to, they usually finish filming each season by the end of November.

I doubt very much next season will be the last as it's just too profitable. It's still the most watched show on cable just now. I imagine they'll milk it as long as possible.

Starting to get bored of all the fillers now. I get that you need to build a story and develop characters but I need more action and drama! :(

That's what basically gets me about the show, these cheap moments and cop outs that bring the overall level of the show down. That and the overacted melodrama which I simply don't understand bearing in mind it's from a network that brough us Mad Men and Breaking Bad, just cheapens the whole thing.

Pretty slow episode. Who are all these random people stealing food "because it doesn't matter any more". Seems dumb.

Why didn't they send more people to go out and look for glen, would have made sense not to go through the sewer if its locked up. Could have easily found a gap around the other side over the wall, they have ladders.

Was so annoyed by this episode, I spent so much time telling the TV what to do but would they listen, no! They really made an effort to follow all the boring characters (other than Aaron/Maggie) to the point that Carol was written out of the episode completely, when actually Carol and Morgan should have been pivotal after what happened. It's not impossible to make filler interesting - just look at the Morgan episode.

Found it funny how Rick listed the people that were still out there and couldn't remember the name of even a single Alexandrian :D "You people are already dead to me".

Mayor Yoda was very annoying with her silent internal breakdown and useless son, she needs to step aside. She had a Eureka moment with the plans and then didn't tell anyone even though she almost died?! So many mistakes and holes in this episode.

I imagine the Glenn resurrection will happen in the mid-season finale.

Doesn't matter, everyone is already infected, you need to get bitten and/or die in order to turn, random cuts and injuries don't cause infection. Of course, getting sewage water in a cut could lead to a nasty normal infection...

for gods sake someone cut carls hair

I was lolling at that scene, the two worst haircuts in any show. And the little bro who won't come downstairs has a bowl cut - their mum is the town hairdresser.......

The thing that gets me about this whole Alexandria thing is the fact that Deanna looks so very much like the female changeling from DS9. Perhaps the 'blood' that was dripping down from the wall as she walked away after her pointless litttle gate tantrum wasn't her son offing himself as I initially assumed but her spawn returning to a liquid state to enter "The Link".

I'm thinking Glenn won't be mentioned next week either, hell they might even drag it out until the mid season finale, but I don't think they will (or rather hope they won't) thats too long.

Next week: the story of Daryl, Abraham and Sasha and return to Alexandria.
Week after: plan to get rid of horde.
Finale: Glenn reveal. Profit?

What was Rick's big plan for leading the horde away anyway, did he ever say? Was there another big pit they could all fall into?

Those are my thoughts. Don't know if it's hint but the fact that Maggie & Aaron set off for their rescue via the "sewers" that Glenn will pop up shortly having been swimming through poo for a few weeks... It would also explain why he's not signalled if he's travelling underground. It would be a great shame to lose Glenn, he was one of the better characters early on.
