I started with the Koss PortaPros (for 5 long years) - which were frankly phenomenal for £30. I still use them out and about alongside a plethora of IEMs. I then moved on to Brainwavz HM5s which only lasted a year before being sold to fund some AKG Q701s with an upgraded Van Damme cable.

SRH 1540 are pretty good for gaming, good soundstage for closed headphones + good bass, decent mids and treble.

sennheiser still have my favrouite mic for gaming comms modmic is ok but the senns mic is a top bit of kit. I'd say if the G4me ones were £20 nearer the price of the HD598 it would be a best seller.

Still it's a good seller for us as it is but I think it's a bit high when you consider the original price of the PC 350's vs the Game zero's

Using Cal's at the moment with a soundblaster z but looking for some new headphones, what would you recommend for about £100 and would they be a big improvement over my cal's.
