Long story short, had a minor scrape with a bus early last month. Contacted insurance company just to INFORM them they I had an incident (the law, right?). I wouldn't be claiming as the bus company paid for the repairs.
I have checked on various insurance company websites and the insurance increases £300 if I mention an incident, no claim, zero cost and and non-fault. I know of one company that doesn't require you to disclose no-claim incidents, yet they wouldn't insure me on a new car I am looking for.
tl;dr:
Do not mention incident = £500
Mention incident = £800
Are there any insurance companies out there that don't care about no claim incidents? Tried Adrian Flux and they can't do any better than others.
