Which TV series do you wish hadn't been cancelled? There are some out there that I am constantly amazed are still on the air whereas others that showed promise are cut short!

A few I really wish had carried on are:

Better Off Ted - cracking comedy imo!

Flashforward - I guess more out of curiosity really as it never had the chance to properly get off the ground!

Alphas - nice premise but again cut short imo!

I'm sure there are loads more - what do you wish was still on today - or at least had been given a proper ending?

Bit cheesy at times but Forever was a neat little show. Hannibal is another I hope a different network acquires.

the equalizer
the x-files (although its coming back soon):p
quantum leap
prison break (also coming back soon)
tour of duty
midnight caller

EDIT: forgot to add monk to that list, loved that

Happy Endings (guilty pleasure)

I was about to Google this but then thought better of it as I'm at work! :p

Think I'm one of the few who thought Alcatraz was decent.

I thought it was an interesting premise, again it needed a 2nd season to get into the crux of the story!

So many good suggestions here (and I'm ever so slightly embarrassed to admit that I've never watched Firefly - got it sat there but just never got round to it!)

Agreed, I got introduced to Better off Ted about a year or two after it had finished but it is a brilliant show.

Without a doubt.

Almost Human

I really enjoy Almost Human, it suffered a little due to the re-organisation of the episodes. However it built a solid base and got better as the season went on and promised more has there been an S2.

The Tomorrow People.

I agree with this, the show was never amazing but it was entertaining in a brain off sort of way. Quite an intruiging ending though with the consequences of Stephen's actions over Cara.
