David Cameron campaigning against Tory cuts

Not entirely true - as an Oxfordshire resident I have contacted Hudspeth with concerns which he has been quite happy to blame directly on central government.

I stand corrected:) Guess there's no honour amongst thieves.

Is he a councillor that's been in office for years & thinks he's untouchable like Stone did in Rotherham?

In response Mr Hudspeth reminds Mr Cameron he "worked hard to assist you in achieving a Conservative majority".

No way! Surely they would have been wanting Farage or Milliband as PM?

Typical wrong person in the job scenario.

I don't see the problem, it's largely a political PR stunt to make the Tory's look more center ground, which to be fair I think over the last 10 years they genuinely have become more interested in the vulnerable. DC is a pretty decent chappie I think.

What?? Privatising everything, cutting funding for the rest, lowering taxes for the rich and corporations, and cutting tax credits for the poor? This parliament is the most right wing in my lifetime certainly.

Maybe i am wrong but the reason he did this is because of all the Tory voters being sheltered from cuts in thier 99% white villages. Meanwhile the rest of the country is being invaded and having services cut left right and center.

Do they not give some of them extra funding? Or is that not allowed? It would not suprise me if this was the case where these little villages live in a protected bubble where as the rest of the UK is shafted. Am i wrong? I hope so because the above would be illegal and immoral. They decimated healthcare elsewhere an uncle of mine died from alcoholism and wrecked his house and we could not get him any help in over 9 months. Eventually they took him in to care and he died a few weeks later.

This was only a few months ago as well. I bet when someone starts hallucinating due to drink withdrawal in Camerons village they get care within weeks.

Do roads not require repairing or something?

It's not actually repairing as such, for example re-building roundabouts in a way which has already been proved (on other roundabouts in the city) that does nothing to help congestion.

There is one particular square in the city where the road layout has been completely re-designed three times in the last ten years or so. It's happening again now and suprise, suprise is over budget and behind schedule.

The Oxford council are so useless I find it hard to believe they are even human. The road works are absolutely abysmal - they even conceded it was badly planned but they needed to spend the money to hit budget hurrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Love how the road through the roundabout at the top of Abingdon Road goes really narrow and dips - all at the 60mph speed limit.

Sounds like the new £500K "dutch style" roundabout that is "the pinnacle of safety for cyclists" in Cambridge that is neither dutch style, nor the pinnacle of safety, and is in fact utterly the opposite. An ill conceived waste of money that is significantly more dangerous than the roundabout it replaced.
