NVIDIA has released a new trailer, showcasing the NVIDIA GameWorks graphical features that will be featured in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. The PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will support TXAA, HBAO+ and PCSS.

Really impressed with how good this looks.

I've got this on pre-order, I hope it works on AMD in general, obviously no Gimpworks. A crossfire profile would be ideal but I can't really see it happening.

Does look great though. This is the first one i've bought since AC 1 so it better be good!

I still regret the fact that I pre ordered Unity...cant remember how long I need to wait until the game was fixed while people running into wall etc...

Anyone knows is this going to bring back the original multiplayer mode (Player vs player)?

Wasn't on my radar until I saw this... This looks good. Honestly there are to many games to actually sit down and play through.. Guess that's a good thing. I've already got enough games to last me through next year lol.

Certainly looks the part, we will just have to wait and see if it actually works as described this time.

IMO, AC games have always had fantastic settings and visuals, but the execution was sometimes off. Hope this will be different and run better than Unity, which it might well be since there's a notable framerate improvement on consoles and it is slighly less detailed that the previous game.

And I agree with you about games in general, I have three great ones to finish and one relatively crap one (Arkham Knight) I have to plod through to get my money's worth:p I More than two games at a time just puts me off from playing at all.

Still, I think I'll grab this for a decent price and wave Arkham Knight goodbye:p

yeh the setting looks nice
they say the controls are buggy as hell tho
im amazed how many ppl still pre-order games :)

I never pre-ordered even a single game in my entire life:p Just don't see the point, but I can grab a cheap Bullets or Blades key so I might give Syndicate a chance:D

Looks stunning. Say what you like about Ubisoft, but they know how to do the eye candy. Watchdogs, when modded up a bit, looks amazing. Unity, looks incredible at times.

One thing I just don't get though, and this is a general Nvidia thing, is TXAA. It's total and utter arse. It's an effect akin to smearing Vaseline on the lens in the good old days of photography. Softy softy blurovision. Does anyone like it????

I might have to buy this on PC as well, once i'm done with the Xbox version. Thoroughly enjoying it btw. Can't afford to miss out on those Gameworks etc!

The developer seemed to like it! I assume someone does but as long as the topion can be disabled there is no issue.

I like this part about HBAO+
Compared to previous technologies doubles the level of detail [and] runs 3 times faster ... while maintaining the best performance available

I thought GamesWorks Gimpworks was supposed to be badly optimized:confused: How come a respected developer is saying it can throw twice the number of light rays 3x faster than previous technologies giving he best performance available?

Do we want to believe the baseless opinions of brand-affiliated forumites who aren't even software developers or the words of an actual real life game developer? hmm, let me think about that.
