The best restaurants in Sussex?

I'm hoping to take my parents out for dinner as a present in the near future, and I was hoping to find somewhere special without trekking too far.

From a quick Google I am seeing The Curlew in Bodiam highly recommended, has anyone had experience of this restaurant?

Would be looking to spend up to £65-£75 a head.

The Pass at the South Lodge Hotel near Horsham is utterly fantastic. Highly recommended.

Was going to suggest Gravetyre Manor but I don't know the prices. Had a free Christmas lunch there a few years back and it was superb. It has since earnt a Michelin star.

Good choice

I really like the surprise menus. I'd really like to go there before the Great British Menu dishes are off the menu as I really want to try that goat dish.

I've booked in just before that finishes (31st Dec) as I'd love to try it too. They have an 8 course menu too I believe, but you can choose which menu you'd like on the day. Looking forward to it
