Those windows look like they are already tinted or at least polarised... excessive tinting is illegal btw.





For a change, I agree with you... the new superglued tablet look is very silly... the last-gen integrated systems suited the cars so well (BMW at least).

19s will look just that bit better ;-) and you can to tint the rear windows as black as you like it's the front windows you can't touch

But you sit INSIDE the car when you drive it... you can't see the wheels.

19s will worsen the ride quality... marginally but noticeably.

Won't it look a bit silly having clear windows up front and dark windows in the rear? Quite imbalanced...

I did - it's the InControl system which premièred on the Discovery Sport. It's newer than the system in the F-Type, for example

It's not the even newer InControl Pro system though (which is what's coming next year) but it's still pretty new
 
Was looking at one of these in the dealership today. Quite impressed with it. Think I will go for a petrol engine though if I get one next year.
 
Well the last week I have upgraded to 19" wheels and had the windows tinted.
The best picture I could get with the horrible weather!

I absolutely love the car I can't fault it in anyway really very happy however it is booked back in jag next week as one of the side skirts does not line up to the rear arch something which I never noticed until I looked close but they said they will re align it and get it sorted.

I really like the wheels, not a fan of the tints though - cars only look good tinted front and rear, which is of course illegal.
 
The XE is a great looking car but white with tints just looks bleh :( I don't understand our nation's obsession with white cars. I really don't.

That lovely red one at the top of this page with the nice wheels looks much more fitting IMHO.
 
I'm happy that white has made a resurgence. It means that in 5 years time when I'm looking to buy one used, white ones will be 10 to 20% cheaper than any other colour.
Remember the late 80s when white was super popular? Well, by the mid 90s anything executive that was white was significantly cheaper than cars that were silver, black or red.

So I have added genuine bigger wheels and privacy glass on the back and I have ruined the car? I would have had it built like this but I did not want to wait the 4 months to get it.
Thanks for your consideration I might stick some go faster stripes on the bonnet next :)

In Your opinion!

I like it with the wheels and tints. Everyone to their own and to say he's ruined a nice car, no he hasn't you just don't agree with what he's done. Personally I'm not a massive fan of the car, but I think this is one of the sweetest looking ones, balanced on those wheels now... anything smaller on that size of car looks unbalanced. Nice work man!

Go faster stripes would look good on that car... just so long as they're front->rear and not just the bonnet... that would look silly ;)

The tints imbalance the look of the car, hugely... it just looks wrong.

The wheels could be worse, but the tyres are too low profile, so it looks silly.

Have you thought about adding your own 'Black Pack' to it. It's a £500 option but with the black side rather than chrome on the wings and bumper it looks great in the flesh.

This is something I would have went for but I would have had to get the car build and was going to take 4 months and I just did not want to wait that long so decided to just do a few extras myself. I am going to a graphics company tomorrow and hopefully they can wrap the side grills in black and front grill although if not I could just purchase the side grills from jaguar in gloss black but they are pricey and I do not want to spend too much money on the car as I only have a 3 years lease on it.
