I haven't bothered with RAC/AA membership as Im never far enough from home to get a taxi/walk unless my other half is in the car and her RAC membership covers her not her car

If I'm in my work van then I've got a Halford chest with just about every tool I'd ever need other than a proper jack and torque wrenches

You see, that makes sense for where you live. If I lived in Oz I'd probably carry that stuff too (if I was in the sticks rather than in the city).

I don't get the need for all this kit though living in the UK.

Probably a relatively spartan loadout for an old landrover discovery.

The cards are for when I have to wait for the trailer guy to recover the vehicle... ****-head is a game just about everyone I have ever met knows how to play, gives me and any passengers something to do other than moaning

All of that stuff is in one smallish holdall and an old freezer draw for the oils etc in my boot, and there's still loads of room hehe.
