Hi,

Not posted on here for a while but started getting this issue, checked cpu fan speed in the bios and it's showing the pump is still spinning, can boot into safe mode and the pc stays on so ran a couple of antivirus programs which found nothing, any suggestions please ?

Yea boots into safe mode fine, if i remember correctly last time i shut it down before this problem was updating windows i think, will try rhe cmos reset first see if that helps thx

Used to have updates off to but tried windows 10 and had major internet problems so reverted back to 7, can get into windows repair but keyboard or mouse not responding so stuck at the language option.

Swapped mouse to usb2 and got it working in repair but repair said nothing wrong, rebooted and was working ok, shut down and put mouse back into usb3 and same problem, tried mouse back in usb2 and same.

I have the same issue with my mouse sometimes. I find moving it temporarily to another USB port usually gets it working again as it's obviously driver related.

Ok thx will try that, unplugged all usb devices and it boots up fine, tried with mouse only and fine, have disabled aida64 from startup as i used that for keyboard (g19s) lcd, will try boot up with keyboard plugged as well as mouse before i try with the disk.

Same problem with keyboard plugged it but i noticed aida64 started up even tho i changed settings not too, uninstalled aida64 and seems fine atm with both razer mamba and g19s plugged in so maybe an issue with aida64.

Unless it's something else like the keyboard playing up but only when aida s running, all seems fine now but missing my custon LCD display lol.
Edit: might leave it a few days and try to reinstall aida.
