Couple of days ago I bought some components for my brothers PC, as I already had some sticks of RAM, a PSU, GPU and Case. Was thinking of building him his PC as he needed one.

I bought this motherboard 4 days ago (ASUS Z97-K), arrived 2 days ago and been trying to sort out the problem to why my monitor displays nothing. I've swapped GPU's with my current PC I've got, 660Ti to 980, I know both works with my current mobo that I use, but doesn't work with the motherboard. Also swapped out the RAM, the hard drive to my one (as the HDD is brand new also), but nothing worked. Is there someone I can talk to for support? So if there's an actual issue with the MOBO, I can send it back?

Been 2 frustrating days seeing as there's nothing I could do to fix the issue. Even messaged a couple of IT buddies of mine and they don't know what the issue is and told me it could be a faulty MOBO.

Sorry for the long post.

EDIT: Is it possible to get a refund on the product as it hasn't been 14 days yet?

TL;DR: MOBO HAS A PROBLEM THAT WONT DISPLAY ON THE MONITOR.

Couple of things to check - I assume all power connections are in including the 8 pin for cpu power, try with only one stick of memory and also try a CMOS reset.

Yes, everything was in check, of course the CPU power, the MOBO power, I've tried putting RAM in slot 1/3 and 2/4, then 1 only and 3 only etc. Still nothing.

Return under the 14 days CCR, when you dismantle double check the socket for any bent pins!

Have you just tried it with the integrated graphics - that will test everything except your separate graphics board?

I've removed the GPU and tried with a VGA cable, HDMI cable, DVI cable, still nothing displayed on the monitor. The motherboard is in pristine condition as it came arrived, apart from the fact that it doesn't display on the monitor :(

How do I return the item to OC?

You can request to return the motherboard under CCR or return it and let them test to confirm and they can send another board out - Just mention what you want and a member of staff will assist :)

Bailey tends to spend a lot of time there and has helped me in the past :)

I bought a new motherboard, and it's working now. So I just need to wait for OcUK to reply to my post I put on the Customer Service forums then.
