Call of Duty 2015/Black Ops 3?

Not capturing flags didn't start with cod but putting in so many vantage and head glitching spots it encourages camping more than capturing flags.
 
I don't think they need to up the points you get for a capture as it fits nicely with the killstreaks, what they need is to seriously nerf the points you get for a kill. If they leave the capture points as they are but make the kills only be 10 points then even a UAV at 500 points would be almost impossible to get via camping for kills. I would also like to see kill/death not show on the scoreboard and maybe even not count towards to your k/d ratio

But that would fly in the face of the positive reinforcement psychology employed in modern games. They don't want little Johnny not being able to have his fun now do they?

But I agree, objective based modes should only allow score for objective based play. But they won't risk it. Too many glory hunters out there playing for the K : D to ever take that risk.

Oh but imagine if they did!! The salty tears would flood the world!! ;)
 
easiest way to promote playing the objective would be to only give 10pts a kill or something. So it would mean getting 15 kills or more just for a UAV.

Another idea could be that your weapons only function 30 seconds after a cap. Could you imagine :D

I've said this before, but in case you missed it, when it comes to hotfixes (aka: Game Settings Have Changed) we won't be issuing full patch notes.

Most of these edits were very small and range from clip sizes, to damage range, to ADS time in/out adjustments, modifications to Quickdraw Bonus(es) for LMGs, recoil reductions.
The general philosophy is to tune in small increments either up or down, until we have a really healthy set of data and player opinion to work from.

Just played two games and it seems MM is now rogered.

I was having serious problems earlier. Just getting into super high ping matches

I was playing HC KC. And I know they say that there aren't high numbers playing HC but I never had problems like I have in this game in other CODs like AW, Ghosts or even BO2(when I started playing HC KC). I really hope it was just the servers having an off night.
 
Played for a while on a mates PS4 today. Didn't have any undue lag issues over and above the typical CoD netccode shenanigans.

I am pretty bad but I enjoyed it. I like the maps so far. Overall it feels better than AW and after trying some Ghosts a few days ago it is definitely streets ahead of that!

Overall, even though I struggle with using a pad I quite enjoyed myself. Which surprised me quite a bit.

Early days yet and I have only played it for a short time but I think it is a big improvement.
 
Anyone up for Zombies after 10pm? I want to learn the map but playing public seems to have so many connection issues at the moment :( I reckon about 50% of the games I join timeout or lose host connection before they even start.

Am hoping it might be better with a private game and comms may be better.

Horrible stutter and lagg issues tonight. Enjoying the game when it works, maps I find enjoyable too but the last three nights I've experienced these lagg issues.
