I am thinking of buying one of these cards but reviews seem to not be able to choose between the too and benchmarks don't seem very definitive either.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Have you seen the nVidia driver thread? Might want to.better drivers
They run badly on nVidia cards too, it's called gimpworks for a reasonTwincam said:many games now use nvidia gameworks which if you have an amd card performance is bad so you have to turn off the extra effects.

Even taking those 2 **** poor excuses for "positive" reasons to go with the Ti, I'm still recommending the Ti. Why? Not because "better drivers" or "gimpworks" or "NVIIIIIDDDIIIIIAAAAA" or whatever lame reason, simply because with the overclock it's just a faster card.
The fury x would be a "gamble" at this point, it might get voltage control one day and prove to be the "overclockers dream," but at this point I'm doubting it. It might also prove to be significantly faster in DX12 applications, but it's another Might. So at this point I doubt anyone can recommend the Fury over the Ti I'm afraid.
Having had both the Fury X and 980 Ti I can say without the shadow of a doubt, Get the 980 Ti.
Overclocks wayyy better, Outperforms the Fury X, Very frequent driver updates, Better software i.e GFE, Shadowplay and cheaper than the Fury X etc...

^^And this guy is an AMD fan and tried the FX!!!!
nVidia seem to have won this round, BUT if I was a betting man I'd say the FX is more of a long-term investment...
