Just a quick thank you and my story.

It's hard to avoid people talking about diets and losing weight these days. I hate it. Becasue I know 90% of these people are just following the latest trend in thei social circle and miss the point of what they're doing then give up and first sign of it being difficult. Then theres the ones who are so big it's easy to lose big numbers, but when it plateaus they go back the other way twice as fast.

So congratualations on not only meeting your goals, but for doing for the right reasons. It's not about the numbers, it's about how you feel and how it improves your and lives of peoples around you. I bet you've learnt a lot that you can apply to other aspects of life too :)

I've completely retrained my mind...I still enjoy the odd cake or take away but I eat so much better. I had tried fad diets before and they just didn't work and wasn't sustainable for life. As you said it always went back the other way.

When I started this in 2012 I came into saying this was not a diet, it was a lifestyle and I still believe that now. This for me wasn't an over night thing, I worked so hard for every single pound I lost.

I have become driven and determined and have recently started a new job. During my interview one of the interviewers said when they read my CV they facebook'ed me as they was really surprised as it's such a large amount to loose.

fantastic result - it sounds like the road was pretty tough but you've definitely managed to pull through to the other side. It takes a lot of commitment and discipline to make a big change such as this. Your husband, friends and family must be so proud :)

They really are and I must say...My husband has been so supportive throughout this whole thing. No idea how he copes with me weighing and writing down everything I eat :D

Well done, I know exactly what you've gone through. For me, losing it wasn't too hard, maintenance is a different matter but I'm managing it. Stick with it, your life will be so much better.

I've heard that a few times, I can't imagine maintaining being any harder than loosing it.
Do you have any maintaining tips?

I know when I got to goal the first thing my mum asked me was if I would stop weighing and tracking everything I eat and she couldn't understand it when I told her I'd be carrying on.
Truth is as much as I know better now, I know just how easy I can gain weight by not being careful.

That's a huge accomplishment, it's great to see another story similar to Feek's. You must be incredibly proud.

I'm not sure I can get over how much of a different person you look.
