Kay Burley...

I'm not sure it's outrage, it's probably more incredulity at her stupidity...

I couldn't care less that she posted an idiotic picture of a dog, but she's clearly banging someone in Sky to keep her job, because she doesn't keep it on her intellectual merit!

Yeah, I don't think it's outrage, I think it's people mocking her because of all the other crap that she's pulled.

I wonder if she was left wing you'd have a different attitude.

I have no idea what her political leanings are, she could already be left wing as far as I know.

Not sure why it would have any impact on my view of her at all, unless being on the left would mean not wading through blood and piled bodies to get the right picture of herself?

Or are you simply attempting to make it about me, and indicate that I am on the left and therefore would like someone else that was on the left?

I really don't understand your reason for posting that.

Oh she's got a long history of ****-ups and disgusting behavior.

She surprised volunteers looking for April Jones with the news that she was dead and that instead of looking for a little girl there was now a murder inquiry, live on air, and captured their reactions. She said that the entire Eastern Seaboard had been decimated by the 9/11 attacks, she started the whole phone hacking scandal off by denying it completely saying it was not endemic in the media despite all evidence to the contrary... she thinks she's a female Paxman when in actual fact she's a female Wayne Rooney without the footballing capabilities.

Just recently she was stepping over/around/through the bloody aftermath of the Paris attacks to point out bulletholes.

Thankfully I've never had to endure more than a fleeting glance of Sky News, but she does sound a lot like Chris Morris from The Day Today.

So.. basically David Cameron is supporting something that, according to his stats source, is already fixed. Hence getting brownie points for doing nothing and the two women on the discussion have supposedly fallen into the Cameron trap..

I think tho - you need better than a 1% statistic to be meaningful, and it's not a good starting point to attempt to argue from!

Would be interesting to see some real stats. She knows she's getting roasted.

In November 2015 Burley, who had been in Paris covering the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, was criticised for tweeting an image of a golden retriever dog with a caption noting: "The sadness in his eyes".[30][31]

Complaints exist from any investigation where either side think they're getting a raw deal.

Seriously? Nail. Coffin.

I don't watch Sky News or take it seriously.

Why is everyone being so hard on that nice Kay Burly? It's well established that dogs can pick up on human emotions, so it's entirely possible that the dog's owner/people nearby were sad and sombre and the patriotic pooch reacted accordingly. Admittedly the dog's understanding of the geopolitical impact of militant action by Islamic fundamentalists may be rudimentary at best...
