Please shed some light on these friends as i want to build one in the next 2 weeks when i am on holidays .

You might want to remove those competitor links, they're not allowed.

If you're doing HD editing & encoding you'll want more than 1 hard drive. The budget might be a bit tight but I'll have a look when I'm home (not staying at work longer than I need to! :p )

More cores are better for video encoding.
If you can afford to up your budget, i'd recommend a X99 setup using 5820K with a boarde that takes a m.2 SSD.
I know it's a big hike, but to get something to do what you want in a decent time, then you need to pay more i'm afraid.
The speed of the m.2 dumps all over any other drive i've used and tested for reads/writes.

You probably want to be looking 2nd hand tbh. A full system with an i7 is pushing it on £700. You could drop the 120Gb SSD or have 1 big HDD instead of 2 smaller ones but having a dedicated SSD for media cache is a massive advantage, as is having separate HDDs for media files and exported media.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £770.78
(includes shipping: £0.00)

[edit] There's always an AMD FX - decent 8 core performance for editing and a lot cheaper

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £646.78
(includes shipping: £0.00)
