Please can you help spec a colleague a gaming build to better Xbox One and PS4 please. I'm not to hot on Intel processors.

A few requirements -

Requires everything inc monitor
Intel processor
8GB of ram
SSD
Budget £600 to £700

Is this doable for 1080p 60+ FPS?

Thanks, I'll look into these in more detail particularly the processors, looks like SSD isn't possible and limited to 60hz so might be able to save on the first build by swapping the 390 with the 370

He needs to decide on his priorities at that budget. For gaming the i3 / R9 390 will out-perform an i5 / R7 370 by a fair margin. An SSD is possible but he'll have to choose between an SSD or HDD if going for the bigger GPU.

your not limited as such, you can get monitors that are 60-75hz and odd gaming ones, but for anything higher you would have to compromise areas unless you raised the budget.

my last mock up was a showing of comprise to get over 75hz monitor, windows or not need to factor in whether a higher than 75hz monitor is required
