Woohoo!! Only 27 years until Members Market

I have been a member since November 2006. I was actually a member before that but something happened in 2006 which wiped out all of the user names and then someone took my really cool username.

Anyway, I don't post a huge amount but actively lurk. Today I made my 250th post and it hit me, doesn't that mean I can look at the members market now?

Alas no, it turns out it is at 1000 posts. This means, at my current rate, I will get to see the members market in November 2042. I will be 72 years old.

I am looking forward to it. Is it really cool in there? Are there dancing girls?

Just FYI there has been a few staff members mentioning the consideration of upping the post limit to 2000-3000

I'm in the same situation. Joined in the same year but don't post lots, I tend to read more than post. Id love to be involved as I have a smart phone addiction and like to sell. Don't like Gumtree through bad experiences.

We should have a separate place for people to sell stuff who don't contribute to the forums. You could allow people to buy and sell whatever they want whenever they want and at any price, accepting any payment method and any delivery option. You could abscond yourself of any responsibility too.

You could call it Mugtree or something.

The big nuke was in Oct 2002 which is why a lot of older members have that join date.

All you need to do is go into a thread about cars, for example,
then get into an argument with someone about something completely different while trying to prove who is the most alpha male

Seems to be the way some peeps get such high post counts

I remember something happening, I was a member before 2006 but i forget now why the nuke happened. Maybe 2002 and 2006 suffered something but he is correct. Look at mine Nov 2006 as well.
