desktop icons not display number of emails/whatsapp/SMS/facebook messenger etc

hi guys

got vodafone smart ultra 6. all communcation apps on desktop/homepage are not displaying number of unread message. android 5.0.2

my old phone samsung s4 does this before. it was on android 4.something

how or where to enable them?

If you use nova launcher you can add them yourself. Not sure on on stock though.

Correction, it's a Samsung TouchWiz feature.
