I have one of these, it seems it is the only pc related item that I own which refuses to work with Windows 10 :(

I need a dual throttle stick for DCS-A10, the x-55 and warthog sticks are a bit pricey!

Any reasonably priced alternatives out there, or perhaps a community driver as Saitek (Mad catz?) don't appear very forthcoming with an official driver.

**************update***************

Bought a madcatz replacement, works fine just plugging it in. Thanks for the replies/advice!

I have the Cyborg X on Windows 10 which is pretty much the same stick, and that's working with Saitek/Madcat Drivers just fine.

You might need to remind me about it, but I can check what drivers I'm running if you like?

A little update, I've updated my bios (not that far out of date and no usb issue fixs to speak of in the notes) and re-installed my chipset driver.

Windows now at least recognises the stick, but not it's responding properly during the test/calibration of the axes. no difference changing usb slots either.

Uninstall the drivers for the stick, and try installing fresh.

I've added a subscription to this thread so I'll get an email if you need to remind me to do this (or send me a trust message later).

Had the same problem with my V1

Removal and reinstallation of the drivers worked fine, oh and making sure I was using a USB2 port not USB3.

Good point on the usb2, I think it wouldn't work in my USB 3 ports either. Will check driver versions soon.

Just got the stick out of the garage, plugged it in and immediately recognized it. Driver version 7.0.0.41 for the Cyborg X. Everything on it works as expected.

When I look at my programs it says I have Smart Technology Programming Software 7.0.27.13 (By Mad Catz). The file I have is called "Smart Technology 7_0_27_13 64Bit"

Thanks for that, my stick still isn't working. I'm going for a fresh install of win 10 and related drivers. I've tried all my usb3.0 and 2.0 ports, no difference.

I have one of these too, works fine for elite dangerous on Windows 10.

Didn't install anything, just plugged it in and windows did everything.

I've got my windows 10 laptop back from my sister's place, plugged the stick into it as it definitely had no previous drivers unlike my desktop which was upgraded from windows 8.1.

Well, it looks as if the stick is no good as the calibration and test function shows little or delayed response from any input(s). Occasionally the connection drops out and the sticks shows up as unrecognised under devices and printers.
