Wish there was some way to add this to steam, hate having uplay installed for a single game

The closest you'll get is adding uPlay to steam (add non-steam game to my library), launch uPlay via steam, this should give you all of steams goodness over the top of uPlay and games launched from uPlay, overlay, screenshots etc...

Why, this is by far the best visual improvement.

Shimmering/jaggies are the worst thing visually in any 3d game.

TXAA is ok, better than MSAA, but IMO SMAA is the best one, FXAA is the worst.

Try using PCSS and HBAO+ rather than their ultra variants. The differences are really rather tiny: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/gu...ndicate-nvidia-percentage-closer-soft-shadows

Downloaded, Went to play and the Uplay loading symbol just goes in circles endlessly

Now uploading some early performance figures and stunning looking game but performance demanding. I was even thinking of turning down some settings to get performance up but G-Sync did its job and kept things looking smooth my end.

Holy **** this game is punishing at Ultra-High!!! Getting 40fps in places!!!! Looks gorgeous though

Off to try the 359.00 driver, hope it improves things

From reading other people's and watching some videos, I'd agree. This is where Nvidia bring out a new card in time for Christmas at £1500 and tell us it's a good deal

Maxed minus AA which is off, The game generally runs like **** at 1080P or even 1440P on a 980 Ti at 1500/2000.

Ubisoft need some more time to optimize, Plus I was running across a rooftop and suddenly just CTD, Same old Ubi.

this is worrying to hear, been keeping my eye on this as i've enjoyed the AC series minus the issues.

i'd have hoped the Cf fury x would run it but looking at Greg's early gameplay, looks extremely taxing.

Yep, It doesn't look any better than Unity either, Maybe a tiny bit more bling in parts but otherwise graphically it's the same.

Shame they couldn't optimize.
