My first bike wasn't wrapped. Didn't bother me one bit as I had a bike!! All I wanted to do was get out on it and ride it.

Have bought my step son a bike for Christmas, so this is what I'm doing.

It's less amazing when they run over your feet. I suffered loads of injuries just taking her to get the sizing right so god only knows how bad it'll be when we let her loose for real!

My parents just kept my first bike in another room and wheeled it in when we were unwrapping. It's one of my earliest sort of clear memories,
