MSI 780 temps - ok?

Had my MSI 780 for a while now and its been great but when playing Witcher 3 and Fallout the temps get rather high, a lot higher than i have seen before.

Idle : 22-30c
witcher3 : 72-75c

Does that seem ok?

Usually i wouldnt worry but the idle is so low, its lower than my HDD!

If i pop the GPU fan on max it stays about 60- 65c.

I do notice the fan doesn't speed up automaticly, it sits at the same speed it does on the desktop. My guess is it has a temperature that will speed the fans up and im not hitting it?

I got GTX 780sc acx from evga and overclocked I get 74 Celsius degree in witcher 3
To be honest most of gtx 780 with aftermarket cooler run in region from 70-80 celcius degree. Anything above 80 I would worry.

Yea your gpu will increase fan speed according gpu temp. Also get yourself a msi afterburner and you can customise fan curve to suit your need as automatic one is okay but it can be better.

Anything under 80 is fine, Witcher 3 is a heavy usage title so that's about as high as it's gonna get.

75c is fine, but as suggested try a 1-1 fan ratio in afterburner.

Leave as is it's fine.
